About Jason Hewett
Jason Hewett has been a pillar of the conservation and land management community in the Southeast for over 30 years. In addition to his work managing large recreational properties for high-net-worth individuals, Jason has 15 years of experience as a licensed real estate broker in South Carolina and Georgia, with properties sold under his own name as well as with nationally-recognized brokerages.
Since launching his advisory company Private Land Management, Jason has worked with some of the nation’s leading land owners to maximize their property as both a recreational escape and a value-added asset within their wealth portfolio. In 2026, he decided to establish a dedicated brokerage committed to facilitating the transfer of recreational property, not just as a “buy/sell transaction,” but as a passing of the baton from one steward to another.
Through Private Land Brokers, Jason brings his experience and expertise to serve those looking to pass the baton of land ownership to a new steward as well as those seeking to invest in this incredible asset.
